Paper-and-Gerund: Vigilante Think-Jeep (Part 3)

Paper-and-Gerund: Vigilante Think-Jeep (Part 3)

A Story by Abishai100
"

Idealist vigilantes (Paper/Gerund) seek road-miracles of gossip against the underworld-nemesis ('Hook') in Sunday-night vehicle races for knits-fiction (3-part story).

"
Continuing a theme I introduced in a write I made yesterday, about two vigilante-characters I invented (Paper/Gerund) for explorations of city-shapes and mobilization of risk-shadows.

PAPER (Marcus): We've been running good-game against Hook's evil vans, Gerund.
GERUND (Amlan): We may not be usual, cops, or overground, but we're heroes!
PAPER: As masked vigilantes of this American Homeland, we give Hook cool-art.
GERUND: Yes, sir...and your Sunday's-eve road-races made positive cyber-gossip.
PAPER: That's right, Gerund; folks in the city talk-up our dilution of Hook's aura.
GERUND: Facebook-like (for Heaven/Hell).

Well, 'Paper' (Marcus) and 'Gerund' (Amlan) had made steady-progress against the dark and challenging American Homeland urban 'dominion' of the calculating profiteer and warlock of the underworld, the gems-eyed 'Sir Hook' (who borrowed his Selfie-alias from Earth-literature --- Peter Pan). Paper and Gerund continued to enhance their vigilante 'game' against the deadly-Hook with choreographed Sunday-eve road-race games by traffic-lights in their singular jeep to match Hook's wicked-vans of extortion/vandalism minded minions (and made very-pronounced social/cyber gossip charts for Blue Planet city field goals!).

HOOK: Damn, these two vigilantes have made my wild West (city) a game, ha.
EMPLOYEE: Sir Hook, no one doubts you're the greatest villain of the States, ok.
HOOK: Well, the Paper/Gerund Sunday-vehicle road-races are quiet and hyped.
EMPLOYEE: That's because there's no crashes or damages, just plain road-race.
HOOK: Complements the vigilante-work Paper/Gerund did against my empire!
EMPLOYEE: And these jeep-vans races on Sunday are casting much campfires.
HOOK: Ironically, I feel Paper/Gerund have turned me into a contest-celeb, ha.
EMPLOYEE: Facebook-like (for NFL-Sunday!).

Paper and Gerund made fine-wave of inventive underworld prestige-dilution(s) with their choreographed traffic-light jeep/vans races on roads late Sundays for NFL-gameday TV crossed American Homeland traffic/lifestyle cyber-gossip (and underworld storytelling too!). Paper/Gerund wondered how the twists/turns of this (ongoing!) road-race campfire-tales inspiring actions for adventure/miracles would cast 'Sir Hook' as not a simple criminal-mind of the Blue Planet and indeed (perhaps) the Devil himself (Facebook-like).

JOURNALIST: Seems NFL-Sunday and Hook-Paper/Gerund contests are ritual, sir!
POLICEMAN: Yeah, Facebook-like (for doubt).

THE END
