Under the Eye of the Sky

Perdition

With the promises I broke

I fell from grace...

So here i am, awake

Staring at the sky, 

Laying on the shore,

That deep blue I loathe,

brings to mind

all the mistakes from before..

Like that one night

i awoke to lossed friendship,

Like that one day

I was late for the moment of my hardships

Like that night,

I could no longer hold it in,

Like that day,

when the only thing i needed was to kiss..

And everytime, there was sky

pretending to be oblivious,

with its one open eye,

ubiquitous, and unforgiving

I love still, but i must be dreaming

to try and forget, this lonesome feeling.
