The Love Flows

"This poem almost brings me to tears every time I read it... it reminds me of just how much I miss him..." That was what I wrote on a separate site. The guy this was written about isn't even with me anymore. But I still like the poem.

I step into the shower to get clean
And what do I do?
I daydream.
And i ponder on how much I miss you.

I miss your gentle, loving touch
And how you would hold me
When the world got to be too much.
And how I wish they'd leave you and I be.
But, no, they won't let us live in harmony.

I love you, my dear.
With all of my heart.
And i hope with every tear
We are never to part.
