Sonnet VII – Demure sun of GalwayA Poem by Adam Lebzo -RonninWarrior-A tribute to Ireland, Galway and Snoozels Hostel. On footsteps of my deplorable fate, I follow letting faith lead my dark
way, And I opened my eyes one day quite
late, Amid the monsoon standing at Galway.
Polychrome sight aligned in horizon, Grey skies and blue seas robed in coat
of green, My soul then fled from its dark old
dungeon, And embraced the demure sun in paean.
Unsung feelings saw light and learned
a tune, My heart danced under perpetual rain, My past bid peace and did leave me
alone, For once I abandoned my pool of pain.
But seraphic times e'er elude and
fleet, A flake of me is still at Forster Street.
