Something I've been meaning to say

It pains me to sit here
Writing this in my room
As I recollect everything
What I believe you threw

Obsessed one might say
I was about you
For the best now I ponder
Us wouldn't do

Best friends alike
Of course they'd be fights
But some things don't slide
When I think of you and that night

Just when everything came together
Blown apart, stricken as fast
What the hell happened
Was I really that bad?

Say I'm your best friend
Now I just don't know what to think
Sad it ended before it started
But now I know how the feeling sinks

I'm not over you, not just yet
I'll admit that much
As compatible as we may seem
I will say I miss your touch

Some things you do
I find very unattractive
And those things I'm not into
Might've been our traction

You told me there was no perfect girl
I have to love someone for who they are
I hate this as much as I do
Because she was always you

You told me you looked in my eyes
Said there was a sparkle in them
But now I just have to do,
Now I just have to move on from you..
