A Prince In Disguise

A Prince In Disguise

A Poem by Aeryn L. Rose

Lifted from the cold,

In his tight embrace,

While in his warming hold,

I gaze into his loving face.

My knight,

I have found.

Love at first sight,

With barely a sound.

My heart pounding,

My head in a spin.

My spirit goes bounding,

Never thought to win.

Fireworks fly

With every kiss.

Letting out a sigh,

Of complete bliss.

I thought him to be

My knight,

But to me,

He is more in my sight.

More like a prince,

Is my love.

That day since,

My heart sores above.
