Opal moments sink within my past

joining all my tiny beads of light.

Here’s where all my precious pearls are cast

decorating my eternal night.

 

Though the temporal scale is darkly vast,

all my gems would never be as bright

lacking timelessness for their contrast.

Black gives white its everlasting might.

There is some scientific data that backs up what you said.
The Void is not nothing as once thought, Instead it is the glue that holds together everything else.
The Fire & Ice worded together really sets itself so well with my senses. It is a titillating phrase.

Thanks for your very detailed review, jacob! Frost looked outward, and I look inward. My poems are more psychologically driven than naturalistically driven. I also carry out my rhymes further than Frost ever dared. I like Frost none the less. Frost had his moment in the limelight as do we all. My poems also hint at Shakespearean sentiments. Shakespeare knew how to get inside of one's head.
