Basically what the story will touch on. This is not all encompassing, and may change as the story evolves. It's not a finished work.

The Cost of Her Song

This story will deal with:

• The death of loved ones

• Coercement of the protagonist

• Prejudice against characters for things out of their control (basically xenophobia)

• Other horrible things nobody should have to deal with.

• The protagonist is a siren, she does morally grey things, such as sinking boats full of people without a care for whether or not they deserved to die.

• The protagonist was never taught anything different from what they do early on, they don’t know that most of the humans they’ve drowned probably wouldn’t kill all the sirens in her Chorus. 

• Depictions of purposefully drowning humans.

• Depictions of blood, gore, cannibalistic-like behaviors (Since sirens are humanoid, not humans), dead bodies, maiming of others and much more!

This part is REALLY IMPORTANT: To any English teacher looking to find meaning in silly things like the color of somebody’s hair, or the meal that they’re eating DON’T. Making this story complicated is not the intended purpose of this, it’s really just meant to be a different side or take on some of the myths we know, the side of those we’ve deemed villains. Because what if they’re not just villains? What if they had lives, what if they had family, or a perfectly good reason why they did what they did? These are the questions that this author wants you to pay attention to as you read this story.

*This story will likely be very randomly updated, I don't have a schedule, I'm literally just running on my love for the story and my inspiration to take it further. I'll try for about once a week though. (May end up being every two weeks)
