There is a little God in everyone.
There is a little god
Inside of you
God is just waiting
For you to accept that. 
We all have a choice
We have accept it
It cant be forced
But once you see
The god in you
And in everyone
Nothing
Will ever
Be the same

I like the first three lines the best because of their metrical quality. The problem for me is that the very next line, the fourth one, demands almost a religious devotion, when in fact it might be better to let this unfold as a description of individual will, with subtle religious undertones.

When I first got the idea for this poem I wanted it to express the fact that God created the universe and God also created all of us. Therefore, there is a little piece of God inside of all of us as well. When you can accept that, you begin to realize just how connected and just how beautiful we all are in our ways. When you can accept the God in yourself, you can accept in others and start to see God in everything around you. When you get to that point, there is a healing that comes from knowing God and knowing that everything that ever existed is right here inside of us and that God loves us all the same, regardless if we don't understand or see for ourselves. That is the true mercy of God. Even knowing we would stray and we might go against his will and separate ourselves from him, he still gives us the choice to accept him or not.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. The body reflects God's image by first of all being one in substance. God as a trinity is one being, acting with as much unity as our soul acts with our body. Each of us is sacred and every bit the likeness of God. This is a very thoughtful write which reminds us of our responsibility as human.
