Terror

Written over two years ago about an acquaintance with bizarre nightmares (related to bugs on the skin).

rapid flailing, ghastly screaming
nightly without overt meaning
every morning not well rested
no evidence of time invested
secret terror while you're sleeping
away from daylight for safe-keeping
