A Daughter's Pity

A Daughter's Pity

A Poem by Aireal

She is lost in her bottle
Oblivious from life
A mom
A daughter
A sister
A women.
No, She doesn't care
She is lost in her bottle
A stroke at 15
She still has so much potential.
Her family they love her
But, it is getting hard to care about her.
All my life she has pushed us away.
Her daughter
Her son
She doesn't care.
All she does is drink that bottle.
Empty cans all over the floor.
Look in her dresser,
It's filled with them
Rum, whiskey
Scary little words.
She is killing herself,
But she doesn't care,
She is lost in a bottle.
She hates reality,
So she made her own.
One where everything is okay.
Her family, they're all together.
Her arm works,
And everyone is alright.
So lost in reality.
She is pushing everyone away.
A mom
A daughter
A sister
And a women.
But she doesn't care.
She is lost in her bottle.
Doesn't care,
She is killing herself.
He mom is going to lost her daughter.
Her kids are going to lost their mom.
They world is going to lose another woman.
But it doesn't matter,
Because when she is lost in her bottle,
Everything is safe,
and everyone is okay.
