With Ink & Love

I write it down

"Baby, I love you"

With hearts all around

I say it, but think it too

But i write it with ink

On a feather of a dove

And you may take a blink

But it will there, still, with love.

Tony, it's always good to leave a piece, forget all about it, and then return to read it is if written by a stranger. How does it resonate then? Do the images evoked still make sense … emotionally; to your mind; whatever is most important? Besides "simple" can be good.
