I Need A Hug

Sometimes we feel sad ...so we need a hug after that things will get better..

If You need me
Show me the way to see

People lie
People getting hurt
It's just the way things are

Sit beside me
Hold my hands tight
See the future of us in my eyes

I just feel sad tonight
Tears are flowing from my eyes
I just need a hug
Your arms just feel like home
You can't express with just a tone

You make me feel real
The look on you face
The sadness in your eyes
Just shows the nature of you

Your love is so pure
You make me feel safe
No one come and take your place

I just feel sad tonight
Tears are flowing from my eyes
I just need a hug
Sometimes you just need to forget everything

Again, there is such compassion and sensitivity in your poems.....a real deep sense of wanting to take care of someone reading this....:)
And the line of the poem is simple, yet contains such meaning...."I just need a hug"...love it, and yes sometimes that is all we need....kinda welling up a little myself reading this if I'm honest....;)

Reading through this, I made a note in my mind to quote the lines here that I especially liked, only, as I kept reading the poem, I realized that would be too tedious because there were too many to write down here! I like the message of this poem. Sometimes, we just want to collapse into another person's arms and feel their embrace, and let out all of our trouble. A consolatory "I'm here for you" is definitely nothing in comparison to a warm, hug, and a strong shoulder to lean on :)
