Chapter 1

 

As the sun comes up, it just begins to peek over the green rolling hills on the eastern side of Halo Island. It's rays of light rush across the land straight to the highest tower of Crimson Castle, stirring the  King who rests there out of his sleep. The King, Carlucious, opens his eyes to gaze upon three beauties sharing his incestuous bed, naked, resting. He sits up, his hard aged body aching as it does each morning in quick sudden stabs at his sides. He throws his long black hair behind his shoulders as he rolls his naked body off the sheets.

 

He walks out to the balcony, the sun bathing his body. It's warmth soothing his early morning pain. He looks out over the city, Crimson City. It's massive city walls extending out to the deep forest surrounding it. The people still resting, though few wander out to begin the day’s work. The King watches as the silk rays of gold wash over everything he rules and feels a familiar madness stir. He takes a crisp bite into an apple and laughs through his teeth. His mad chuckles grow deeper, until he throws his hands in the air and shouts, "Good morning my kingdom, today is a new day." His laughter and shouts of lunacy echo throughout the city.
