Why we keep building fences around us

Because we are insecure

And want some people out of our lives

Why do we choose the people we are friends with?

Because those are the ones we like and feel comfortable with

Why sometimes we say nasty things to people

Do we mean it even if it hurts them?

Why can’t they be nice to people

For once

Is this too much to ask for

Why can we only trust some people

And not everybody

Because some people can’t be trusted

Why some people don’t even go to church

Because they call them criminals

Why some people don’t believe in God

And they say that God never died in the cross

God died in the cross for our sins

God ruled the world

He judged the men and women

Some people sinned

They stole from people

And end up in jail

Some get out on bail

Some are drug addicted

And smoke drugs

Why people lie to other people

Why can’t they be honest and tell the truth

Why can’t they keep the promise they make to their friends

Why people make promises to themselves and they don’t keep

Why people just don’t take care of their health

Why people want more money

Because they are greedy

Why can’t people be thankful for the peace that they have

Why so many soldiers sacrificed their life for us

So, that we could have peace
