One man’s dream

He is dreaming

A lot while

He is sleeping

Away in  his warm

Cozy warm bed

He is amazed with

The dreams he is

Having while he is

Sleeping

He see his friends

That had died before him

I also he feel sad

That some people

That are his friend

Died before him

And he still have a life

To live here on earth

Also he still is a young man

Made by his father

Many years ago

With his holy hands

And he is so thank full

That he is living here on

Earth

Don’t you worry about me

Because I am doing fine

I am taking care of my health

Every single day

Also I am happy being the

Special needs person

And I was born that way

Also I can’t change that

I got used being a special needs person

And the other friends I have are also

Special needs

My friends are almost like brothers

To me

Also we have lots of respect

For each other

We respect each other’s race and religion

Also we accept each other the way we are

We only going to live once

Because it was only our father

That owns our lives

And our lives are in my father’s hands

We have nothing to worry about dying

Because we still have a life to live

Here on earth

And we are not going to live forever

We will going to die some day

When our father end’s our lives here on earth

I dream about my dead friends and relatives too Aldo. Many of them died before their time. I have lost good friends in the prime of life, my brother too. Dreaming about them brings me some comfort. Dear Aldo, you come across as a person who is thankful for their lot. You take life in your stride even though you have challenges to face yourself. I admire that so much. Thank you for your poetry.
