Old menA Poem by Aldo kraasThat is an old poem Written by Aldo kraasOld men you look a lot like me You lived a long life Until you were 91 You wife died before you So, you were lonely Living in a condo all by yourself You were blind because of the diabetes And you were very isolated Old men When I lived in a condo I was also lonely And isolated Now I lived in a nursing home There are people to talk to They tell me I will live until 91 I have diabetes also Every time I visited you You had cried so much You enjoyed my visit Old men You died in your sleep I also hope to die in my sleep Old men I am living in a different country now Were there is no child labour Old men You have feelings also Old men I have feelings also Old men I am human And you are human also Old men We made you a chess set So you could keep busy But you never played chess Old men You hardly ate anything when they feed you You had lost a lot of weight because of that Old men Now you are dead And resting in peace in heaven
