He broke the ranks

And ran out on his own

Feet, bare in the sand

Hands thrown in the air

Making loud noises

Jumping all the while

He caught my attention

A word I never noticed

Deviated from my usuals

Stunning me with his power

So he runs on the beaches

Of my mind, inviting
