I can't forget about you anymore

A Poem by Aldo kraas
"

That is an old poem Written by Aldo Kraas

"
I can't forget about you anymore
Because when I live alone it is not fun
And why should I live life alone?
Life wasn't meant to be lived alone
I can't forget about you anymore
Because you made my world
A better place to live
And my world wasn't that good before
I can't forget about you anymore
Because you gave me so many beautiful smiles

• I can't forget about you anymore

Make no sense. As stated, this person had already forgotten. So something had to remind them, which means something not mentioned happened—something significant that changes things. Leaving that out kills the all important opening line.

• Because when I live alone it is not fun

Like saying, "Mashed potatoes have no bones." It's true, obvious, and not worth mentioning. And in any case, that's it? Two lines, 15 words, to say, "Life without you isn't fun?"

Instead of dumping all that crap here, over and over: stop, and take the time to write one poem that's well thought out, isn't a whining complaint, and, emotionally involves THE READER. No one is hoping to read a letter from someone they don't know, to someone not introduced, relating to things never mentioned. There's nothing in it for the reader, who expects you to give them an emotional experience, not a letter that's meaningless to anyone but the one it's addressed to.
