May the good Lord be with us

May the good  Lord be with us

When we sleep at night

Watching us sleep

And the only thing

The Lord will hear is

Us breathing

The next day we will wake up early

And the Lord

Will shave us all first

With the electric shaver

Then when it is over

The Lord will give us  the shower

With have no problem with that

He will see us naked in the shower

He will rub the soap in all

Our bodies

And the soap will remove the

Dirk from our skin

And when the shower is over

The  Lord will dry our bodies with

A bath towel

Then he will dress us into oour

Casual clothes

Then the Lord will

Give us our breakfast

The first meal of the day

After breakfast the Lord

Will take us for a walk

In the park

There we will listen for the sound

Of the birds singing for us
