I asked my dear if she would like a cup of tea,

A simple blend of tea leaves, sugar and milk

Filled with lots of love in that cup

Enough to warm her heart

My affection for her in every stirring

Ah, just to see her beautiful smile

As she holds the cup

I poured my love into.

A taste of my emotions in every sip.

Its aroma seduce the senses

I empty my love into a cup

A cup soon emptied by her love.
