If I were able to live in a drunken dream scape,
I'd be a queen,
So young and lovely.
Yet in spite of a love so deadly,
I'd lay in the floor,
Blood forming tears that fall to the marble.

If life were a dream,
I'd have no reason to cry.
I'd have my knight to protect me.
To wipe away the scars,
to fix all the damage,
on this bruised and broken heart.

If life were a dream,
I would be a queen.
A white dress stained red,
from the hands of an enemy.
My blood staining the satin and marble.

If life were a dream,
I'd be dead.

I absolutely loved your approach to the concept of "If life were a dream"! You took an often fantasy-like idea and turned it into a realistic portrayal of a Queen who is often sought after by her enemies. It's incredible; I just love how creative this is :D
