A WalkA Poem by Alice PatinkinI think I'll take a walk today The sky is blue, the air is clean And if I take a walk today Will there be new things to see? They say there always will be But how could they know what tomorrow will bring? I look outside my window Soon it will be spring. I'd like to take a walk today Walking slow, no hurry please And if I take a walk today Would you spare your time to join me? The world is all so caught up In a spider web of broken dreams And in the sky is brewing Your nightmare eulogy. © 2013 Alice PatinkinAuthor's Note
