The whispered word

The softest tone

Power in the words alone

No need for force

Or brutish strength

A tender word will go the length

For love can mend

Each broken heart

And wisdom, with it, will get us far

I know now why

The world was forged

To teach us love through Christ our Lord

We need the heartache

We need the pain

For without this, we will never gain

An understanding

Of selfish sins

And how, through darkness, one never wins

For each dark deed

A price is owed

And by the end, you reap what you sowed

All I know

Is this one truth
