The guidance of darkness

Buries truth undiscovered

The wise seek it out

And though they see not

Their spirits perceive One

Evil tries hard to blot

From memories held deep

Those words gently spoken

A truth weaved through history

His eternal token

A light breaking darkness

At every turn

Turning the tables

Never letting them discern

They think themselves crafty

So cunning and wise

They forget that He made them

And knows all their ways

He allows their presence

For only this moment

To thwart them at their own game

Striking down His opponents
