EscapeA Poem by Alicia-Veracity
Sometimes I forget
That there are confining lines Not meant to be crossed I color over top of them No rhyme, no reason Just bleeding colors Forgetting what it's like To be contained By the end There's just a page Saturated with various shades, feeling That's when I begin to wonder If the bleeding hues Could escape Even the page itself If I cast the image Into the beckoning waves Will chroma find its freedom? Where will each color go? And how far?
