Thunderstorm

Thunderstorm

A Poem by AlisonMarie<3

Flashes in the dark night

Bringing unwanted memories

Loud strikes of light

They start to break me

Inside my head

This vision of you and me

Laying on your bed

Your trying to comfort me

Your hands on my ears

Talking louder than they do

Hoping I wont hear

But my fear is louder than you

The rain falls

So do my tears

Your calming calls

Ease my fears

I open my eyes

The flashback is done

I start to cry

The lightning still booming, like a bullet from a gun
