Hope

Just something on my mind, ya know.

Hope

When you catch a glimmer you're addicted

You look for more

Prowling around like a lion on the hunt

But end up being shot 

Hope is something so beautiful

You'll lie, steal and kill for it

But end up broken because of it

Hope gives you a reason to live

To love and to grow but...

it also gives you a reason to quit and wilt away

The only thing I would suggest is that the first line be the single word of "hope", and then the second line be "when you catch a glimmer, you're addicted". This is otherwise a marvellous piece of writing. Well done! That ending is killer!
