An interesting take on an old theme...Usually, the thunderstorm, with its rain and shrieking winds, is reserved for the bad days, late in the relationship, but you have taken the gut-rumbling, eye-blinding power and equated them to the overwhelming sensations of newly-found love.
A Note of Caution (with tongue deeply in cheek): Beware of those hailstones--they're up there!
The light from womb and itch of heart I loved these images, the way you penned such depth of love and need was touching, the whole idea she is the very essence required to feel once more alive is beautiful, welcome back and keep em' coming
This is beautiful Allen. I was ready to grab the hankies but only for the love of tender love story that touched my heart. I could feel every word written. And I wondered to myself, I want someone to feel that way about me one day. You captured this with such style and grace. I loved reading it and its one of my favs now. Thanks for sharing an amazing poem.
