Hmm interesting piece... I love the contradictory first two lines. I sense a dark side resulting from business and clutter, leading to perhaps writer's block or a little sadness. It brings to mind "actions are louder than words" because the silence is loud in this case, yet it does nothing. Sitting and listening can do a number of things, however including sorting out said clutter on a rainy day, if you will. Where is the sun on such a day? The light that represents life?
Thought provoking poem in few words. Excellent work.
