the fading of youthA Poem by Almalike a wilting flower, I am caught by your gaze, blind to my life, there's only haze.
as young as the dawn, under a perfect sky, I starve on you, on my hopeless try.
go out and see, the world is all yours, awaiting with glee, the angelic cores.
I bitterly cry, in behalf of my youth, it passed so quickly, now who's to accuse?
vicariously I stand, for the fading of age, without having tasted, anything but rage.
It's coming to dust, before having been, and I end this life, in the most cruel scene. -a- (02/10/2007) © 2008 AlmaReviews
