perfect feign

perfect feign

A Poem by Alma

mirrors in my room,

making allusion to space,

a perfect deceit,

the fading of grace.

the smile on my face,

hiding the pain,

the robot inside,

that will never be sane.

sunshine through the window,

giving way to light,

keeping darkness secret,

the black veil of night.

the warm air inside,

depicts paradise,

resistent to truth,

that is nothing but lies.

music like balm,

soothing my soul,

feeding me joy,

concealing the howl.

the feign completed,

everything's fine,

noone can see,

the fragments inside.

Wonderful poem! Mirrors have a haunt for me as I don't believe they just capture the physical reflection but so much more.

"music like balm,
soothing my soul,
feeding me joy,
concealing the howl."

thanks for sharing!
