Pain Within

Have you ever looked through someone's smile and known they weren't really okay? P.S. I wrote this poem in 2018.

Pain and suffering are all I see...
The earth crumbles beneath my feet.
A dark void in my eyes...
I can see through your disguise.
You always put on that fake smile.
All of your pain thrown in a single pile.
When did the world become so dark...?
Sometimes we just need to find a friendly heart. ♡
