(Currently titleless)

I wrote this poem end of February 2024. I kinda forgot about it until recently coming across it so I thought I'd share.

Yes it's true, I miss your smile and the way you held me
I loved the way you cared for others and the way you put my mind at ease
I can't help but miss the memories we shared, they still play in my mind on repeat
Everywhere I go, I still see you in every white van drivers' seat
I miss the way your voice sounds, how you'd whisper in my ear
You always said forever...So how'd we end up here..?

I wish there was a way to turn back time
Oh how I miss being able to call you mine..
I hope someday in the future we can try again,
Until then you still are my very best friend
The one I want to tell everything to...
I guess I'm just trying to say, I really miss you.
