LIQUID TEMPTRESS

 

Oh liquid temptress,

Beneath the azure sky!

Your glided expanse lures me,

Into your wild haunting melodies;

Golden beams,

Twisted into flaxen ropes,

Dance upon your,

Sparkling sapphire waters;

While your roaring waves,

Clash together,

Spraying foam upon my pretty face;

Vast and powerful,

Weighted by memories of countless years,

No words to describe you,

There are not enough;

Unbound by the laws of nature,

An emotional incarnate,

My heart aches to immerse myself,

Into the lyrical strains of your waters;

Oh liquid temptress,

Beneath the azure sky!

I wait for the day,

When at last;

My tender feet dance,

Upon the foaming waves,

Sidelong the graceful, sylphlike nymphs;

Never to be torn apart,

Twixt two world,

For all eternity...
