Agony.

 

He fell to the ground in agony,

Curving in unnatural ways.

He showed a great amount of pain,

But no sound escaped his lips.

She reached out to help him,

Though nothing could be done.

She longed for a way to cure the pain

Shed do anything at all.

He jumped up from the floor

Arranging his features into a smile

But she saw the true pain behind the face

As he held back the tears.
