One Thought

One thought...
like the gentle caress of a butterflies wings,
comes just as quick and leaves the wonder if it really happened,
is there really the cold of a touch long gone?
A tsunami of emotional waves against the land of rational thought?
All from the thought of something once beautiful but now has fluttered off into the wind to slowly let go of this world when the deeper cold comes.
The deeper cold of darker thoughts from irational lands not comforted by the gentle caress of the butterfly's wings.
