Flame

I wrote this for a contest. I like the last two lines

You make it look so simple

the way that you flicker

and burn out

like you are sad

deeply sad

or are you just tired?

You fragile little spark

I could so easily put you out

with a tiny breath

Oh flame, flame

shine ever bright

and lead me into

this weary night

I like the style you went with this one, I like the repeat of a few words, it brings a bit of the dramatic in my opinion. I really enjoy how you can get inspiration from anything.
