Must the heart sacrifice and hide away?

Stash these muted words I couldn’t betray

Let time be still

As I watch the world in peril

Must I patiently stop without reposing?

When day after day some chances are vanishing

If I must sacrifice and hide away

Must I tell my heart to stop beating?
