Sometimes I wonder

Sometimes I wonder

A Poem by Shweta

Sometimes I wonder
in the cold nights
the layered us
beneath the wraps, cuddles and inhibitions
benigns, yearnings, desires, lust
somewhere
we carry the love
changing forms in shapes
as we move in the nothingness
between ourselves
emotions like entangled without a word
unleashed entwined brayed
moved in the miscellany
of space~

Sometimes i wonder,
fingers held light as air
in between the touch
suspended, i find my existence of being
as I feel the eternity in the cliff
and not in the length and breadth
of warmth felt, but
in those untouched
in the woven tapestry
of lives that got lived in between~

Sometimes i wonder,
the core being one with the universe
does not hold any answer,
untold in magic and miracles
the miseries once wept
in its depths
where one finds infinity
of one's existence
being engaged to the
taste of salts of the oceans
somewhere in the belly of a vast mei~

Sometimes i just sit
with this thought of myself
one with the sky and
those of the skies
of beings that I feel in the nothingness
when i weep and oceans dried,
of valour and one more
strand held tight in cells
that emanates and derives itself
from my abode
to help me reach where I want to be..

Sometimes I wonder why we exist...what is the purpose of mankind but to make memories, etch epitaphs on grave markers...become part of an ancestry that says we were all here in one body or another, one heart or another, one soul or another.
I would stay consistent with your "i's" as far as capitalization...
This is a really thoughtful piece in wording and theme...colorfully written.

Beautifully rendered, Shweta 🌾

When a woman's heart speaks of love, wishes, memories, and what-can-be's, there's a warming shimmer that sets one's mind, soul, and dreams dancing along, as though to a mysterically orchestral fantasy of sensually rhythmical ecstasy the most accomplished stargazer cannot unravel … this, is the enthrallment of a masterful poetess' golden pen.

I sometimes wonder, too, what all the meanings and purposes of our life's highs 'n lows are ultimately for and about … questions your poetry so powerfully inspire in me.

Love your title and gorgeously perfect artwork choices to introduce this excellent Free Verse poetry, Shweta … emotion and image-filled to the brim, overflowing with stimulating metaphor.
Thank you, Dear Poetess … Namasté ⁓ Richard 🙏

(a few easy fixes: "emotions like entangled without a word" - omit "like" | Keep your "I's" capitalized throughout | "of lives that got lived in-between~" omit "that got" and add a hyphen to "in-between") 🤓

"Sometimes I just sit
with this thought of myself
one with the sky
and those of the skies of beings
that I feel in the nothingness
when I weep and oceans dried" (sooo eloquently put and deeply felt … sighhh!)
