I'm sorry I don't know you 

I'm sorry you will never know me

Distance and coldness

Frozen forever

I will never warm 

Sides were chosen 

No one looked back 

Blame weighs heavily on my shoulders 

Missed our last chance 

No father daughter wedding dance 

Empty of emotion

Full of regret

In my defence I was the child.

i can't believe this
iam reading your poem and i feel like i wrote it because i know exactly what you mean i been there and not long a go i wrote "a letter to my father" it was my way to let him go for good , it's not our fault that they give up on being fathers when so many poeple are hoping to have just one kid
you are an amazing person you came up all the way without him so you can keep it that way
