Within You...

Within You...

A Poem by Amrita Sharma Pokharel

I saw that miracle
no where
but in your eyes..
felt the freshness
of breeze in your breath
Warmth of the sun in your arms...
I was alone
completely
Alone
on the side of sea beach
 but
...the first wave of tide
touch my feet
and
gave me your presence
 I closed my eyes ,
hold my breath
And begin to count my heart beat...
I found you
and hold you in my arms...
I saw that miracle no where
but in your eyes..
felt the freshness
of breeze in your breath
Warmth of the sun in your arms...
I was alone completely
Alone
on the side of sea beach but
... the first wave of tide
 touch my feet
and
gave me your presence
 I closed my eyes ,
hold my breath
And began to count my heart beat....
I found you

This is amazing imagery and the love that is poured into this piece is quite stunning and romantic. I love the waves tickling your feet. The ocean is a magical thing indeed. It can be calm or it can brew on hell of a storm. This was done wonderfully.

A beautiful and hopeful poem. Your words took me to the ocean and the emotion of touching someone far away. A very good ending to a outstanding poem.
