All at once it came to me

A distant thought of could it be

A flicker of hope

A spark of joy

But I'll just carry on alone

if only flickers and sparks keep appearing they could be showing the way - then like people trapped underground the way out might eventually be exposed into the full warmth of the day and the love of the sun.
