A Poem by E.J. Waling

flipped.
Spark of energy,
program
ignited.
Universe born,
time flashes.
Universe begets
others.
Huge numbers
sparking into
existence.
Waves moving,
universes born,
live, fade away.
Left in the
wake.
Frozen
in place.
Fade into
deep time.
Program
expanding
beyond
time and space.
Who, what
flipped the
toggle.
Irrelevant!
Ancient beyond
knowledge.
We, mere
by-products.
Flotsam,
left
in its
wake.
Left to
simply
fade away.
Frozen
in place.
