A Poem by E.J. Waling

Ancient priests,
witch doctors,
shamans,
sorcerers.
Power!
Held the
ancients in
control.
Existence
frightening,
answers few.
Power, the
few holding
the many.
Control!
Controllers,
followers.
Power,
rewards for
those who
grasp it!
Humanity,
pecking order.
Power passed
from ancients
thru modernity!
Nothing
changed!
Few
controlling
the many.
Change.
Change
coming.
Hive.
Human hive.
Hive mind
technology,
internet
singularity.
Pecking order,
dies!
Power
homogenized!

WHOA! This is truly unique writing, unlike anything I've read here in 3 years. I always like a fresh approach. Your sketchy way of expressing more or less a list of ideas, without much connective tissue, makes this feel like a "free association" game. See what ideas pop out of the readers' minds, given this leading list of possibilities. Your vagueness allows your message to float back and forth between antiquity & modernity, which is a very rare sensation as I'm absorbing your message, which hits the nail on the head of the #1 current worldwide inequity, delivered with a powerful intensity (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
