Thoughts of
exclusion.

existence

Born with
clean slates.
Once born
infection occurs.
Clean slates
filled with
local thoughts,
local ideas.
Ideas of the
ancients.
Fear of
the other.
Fear of
the other
side of the
mountain,
other side
of the sea!
Ancient ideas
of fear and
exclusion.
Fear of the
others infection.
Clean slates
polluted with
archaic thoughts,
pitting one
against another.
Clean slates
soiled
with fear,
filled with
nonsense.
Clean slates
brainwashed,
infected,
controlled
by the
powers
of fear!

This is the reason I stopped my satellite TV service. I found so much of what's on TV to be divisive in these ways. Sure there are good programs, but these can be sought on an individual basis nowadays, without having to sign up for the whole load of exclusive (not inclusive) messages streaming thru many TV channels. Anyhow, I take your point, that we must consider what garbage we are taking in, becuz that's what determines what garbage we are spewing forth! Your poem is a bit repetitive, but I think that works, since these divisive messages are often done in a repetitive way to brainwash people (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
