Yoke

Yoke

A Poem by E.J. Waling

Power,

seducer

of souls.

Power,

contorts,

warps,

controls

minds.

Enslaves,

addictive,

perspective

lost.

Any cost

power.

Power,

weapon of

control.

Power,

the few

controlling

the many.

Power,

the ends

justify

the means.

Weakest minds

seduced.

Beware power.

Power to

abuse.

Religious.

Political.

Corporate.

Beware abuse.

Alert!

Question.

Question everything

less ye be

yoked.
