Delusional

Delusional

A Poem by E.J. Waling

Important
little things.
Scurrying.
Scurrying
around.
Acting out.
Delusions
of grandeur.
Deadly
serious.
Jockeying
for position.
Stepping
over, on.
Win at
all costs.
Ends justifies
the means.
Self important
little things.
Ant hill
of existence.
Meaningless.
Going where?
Achieving what?
Hurting who?
Important
little beings,
scurrying
about.
Scurrying about
in the
meaningless.
Meaningless
oblivion.
