Dystopia

Dystopia

A Poem by E.J. Waling

Glowing
glass.
Eyes fixed
mesmerized.
Information.
What
to believe?
Who
to believe?
Information
overload.
Control.
Digital
global
choke.
Force fed.
Mind
numbing
information,
control.
Manipulation,
human
mind control.
Force fed,
manipulation.
Molding
minds,
like clay.
Forming
shaping
deadening
will.
Free will
formed,
transformed.
Minds.
Pieces of
clay, shaped,
controlled.
Logic
subjugated
reason destroyed.
The few
pulling the
strings.
Wielding the
scalpel.
Burrowing
deep.
Control.
Technology
crushing
the soul.
