Sounds like a spare version of some of the Hindu vedas. Basically what is being said is that apparent reality is a temporary illusion that emerges from a greater field of consciousness, presents for a time, then is reabsorbed back into the whole. This is the physical universe, which is all that the senses can perceive, but represents but a fraction of overall Reality.
